COVID-19 - Phase 3

DO NOT COME TO THE SURGERY WITHOUT A PRIOR PHONE CALL

During Phase 3 the practice will continue to offer medical care, but this will be by phone wherever possible.

If you have a problem, please phone us, don’t come to the surgery.  Your request will be triaged, and a doctor or nurse will phone you back.

If you are booked for face-to-face consultation, please come to the door to register and we will then ask you to wait in the carpark.  Our Waiting Room is not in use.

Face masks are mandatory for staff, patients and their support.  We will provide you with a mask if you don’t have one.

If you already have an appointment booked, we will be phoning you a day or two beforehand.

COVID Swabs

It’s important to continue swabbing everyone with possible COVID symptoms - cough, fever, sore throat or breathlessness.  Household contacts of positive cases should also book for a swab on Day 3 of the patient's illness.

It's easy to get a swab, just phone and book. When you arrive we’ll quickly do the swab in the surgery carpark. There is no charge.

Please note that we are providing COVID swabs for enrolled patients only, or for visitors to enrolled patients.

Dr Ivor Cammack will continue to help with triage and is available to advise over the phone.
