COVID-19 - Level 4

DO NOT COME TO THE SURGERY WITHOUT A PRIOR PHONE CALL
       I
f you need medical attention please phone or send us an email via Manage my Health. If possible your problem will be dealt with by phone or email.

If you need to be seen an appointment will be made.  On arrival please use the hand sanitiser and wear a mask (provided, if you don't have one).

COVID Swabs

It’s vital to continue swabbing everyone with possible COVID symptoms - cough, fever, sore throat or breathlessness.  It's easy to get a swab, just phone and book. When you arrive we’ll quickly do the swab in the surgery carpark. There is no charge. Results come back in 1-2 days.

Please note that we are providing COVID swabs for enrolled patients only, or for visitors to enrolled patients.

COVID Vaccination

The Vaccination Clinic booked for Wednesday 18 August is postponed.  If you were booked to attend this clinic, we will be in touch to arrange a new appointment.

The Clinic booked for Saturday 21 August will proceed unless the Government announce that vaccination is suspended.  There may be special protocols depending on the level of the lockdown.

We strongly recommend that you do not delay your second dose.  The advantages of the 6-week interval are marginal - with COVID in the community it's more important to get your second dose as quickly as possible (subject to the 3-week interval).

If you are in Group 4 please phone 0800 28 29 26 or book online (Google "book covid vaccine").

Dr Ivor Cammack will continue to triage requests for appointments and is available to advise over the phone.
